实施地点与状况
这个试点小学位于甘肃省临夏州东乡族自治县祁牙村。此项目的计划包括一年的东乡语（母语）学前班和为期三年的东乡语与汉语并用的正规小学。目前已为小学一、二年级编写了一些附有东乡语翻译的汉语教材。
实施成果
经过两年的试验后，工作人员将双语教学班与普通班的学生进行了比较，结果显示双语教学班学生的整体成绩较好，在语文和数学两个学科上尤为明显。
Location and implementation
The experimental primary school is located in Gansu Province, Linxia Prefecture, Dongxiang County, Narisi Township. This project has one year of pre-school in Dongxiang (mother tongue) and three years of Dongxiang and Chinese in regular primary school. Chinese textbooks with Dongxiang translation in the text have been developed for the 1st and 2nd years of primary school.
Progress
After two years of the experiment, the students in the BE and regular classes were compared, and the result shows overall success with the students in the BE project, particularly in the subjects of Chinese and Maths.
